This is a website I am creating by myself while raising two kids and doing a full-time job. It is something that I could have never done without AI, and I deeply appreciate experiencing this AI revolution in real-time.
Thanks to AI, I can give specific instructions with one hand while holding my sleeping newborn who wakes up when I put them in the crib. This technology has made the impossible possible for people like me—working parents trying to build something meaningful in the stolen moments between life's demands.
The goal of this app is to distribute the power of AI to people who are not familiar with the new technology. With simple UI and easy-to-understand results, I am sure this will help a lot of people in PTA meetings, college classes, sports team meetings, as well as business environments.
SecondNote will be a great tool for business as well. Recently, I started seeing big companies reducing their workforce, and as a person who engages with AI daily, I assume part of the reason is increased productivity because of AI. It started in the tech industry, but I am sure it will soon spread to any other industries that require white-collar work.
This sounds frightening to many of us, but where does this lead to? A few privileged people have jobs while others will be unemployed or compete with robots in more physical work?
I think if our society still has some sense, it will shift to more of a work-sharing type of system, where one person's job is divided among multiple workers who work less time. And when it happens, our focus will be shifted to how smoothly we can hand over our jobs to the next people.
SecondNote is aiming to be a simple yet comprehensive handover tool, not just a meeting note. In a future where work is shared and transitions are frequent, the ability to seamlessly pass knowledge and context becomes crucial.
To know more about our future plans and how we envision SecondNote evolving into the ultimate handover tool, please check out our roadmap that is soon to be released.
